These terms apply when you use this website, place an order with Green World Tea Company, or visit one of our stores. By ordering or using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not place an order.

About us

Green World Tea Company is a family-run tea retailer founded in Hyderabad in 2012 by Abdul Qayyum Patel. We operate two stores at Panjagutta and Chilkalguda, and accept orders in person, over the phone, or on WhatsApp.

Using the site

You may browse, share, and read the content on this site for personal, non-commercial use. Photographs, copy, and the “Green World Tea” name and logo are our property and may not be reproduced for commercial use without written permission.

Product information and prices

• Prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
• We try to be accurate about every product, but tea is a natural product. Slight variation in colour, leaf grade, and aroma between harvests is normal — and intended.
• Prices and availability can change without notice. The price quoted to you at the time of order confirmation is the price that applies to that order.

Placing an order

We do not run a checkout on this website. To order, you reach us on WhatsApp, by phone, or in person. An order is confirmed once we reply with a written confirmation that includes the items, quantity, total amount, and the agreed delivery or pickup window.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order — for example, if a product is unexpectedly out of stock, if there is an obvious pricing error, or if we cannot reasonably verify the customer. In such a case, any amount paid is refunded in full.

Payment

We accept cash, UPI, and major debit and credit cards at our stores. For deliveries we usually request payment in advance via UPI or bank transfer; the details are shared at the time of order confirmation. We do not store your card details on our servers.

Delivery

• For local deliveries within Hyderabad we use our own staff or a local courier, depending on quantity and distance.
• For shipping outside Hyderabad we use registered courier partners. Delivery timelines depend on the courier and the destination pin code.
• Risk passes to you when the parcel is handed over to the courier. We pack carefully and keep dispatch evidence for every shipment.

Returns and refunds

Tea and coffee are food products. For health and quality reasons we cannot accept returns of opened packs.

• If a sealed pack arrives damaged, please share a photograph within 48 hours of delivery and we will replace it or refund you.
• If we ship the wrong product, we will arrange a free replacement.
• Refunds, where due, are processed back to the original payment method within 7 working days.

Storage and quality

Once the pack is opened, store the leaf in an airtight tin away from heat, light, and strong odours. Tea will not “go bad” in the dangerous sense, but it will lose aroma over time. The best-by date on the pack is a fair guide.

Allergens and dietary information

Some of our blends contain spices and natural flavours (cardamom, ginger, cocoa, clove, dry fruit). If you have a food allergy, check the pack before brewing or ask us directly. Coffee and tea naturally contain caffeine.

Liability

We sell food products in good faith, brewed and consumed at the buyer's discretion. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any single order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited under Indian law (such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence).

External links

The site may link to third-party websites such as Google Maps or review pages. We are not responsible for the content of those sites; their own terms apply when you visit them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Indian law. Any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana.

Updates

We may update these terms from time to time. The version dated at the top of this page is the version that applies to your order.
